Canada day!

This is the month June but July is coming soon, and on that first day of the next month is one of the most importent days to all Canadian citizens...Canada Day. Everyone in Canada does, or should, celebrate the day Canada became a country and was found as "new land". There are lots of fairs and celebrations to make sure everyone becomes interested in the very special holiday.

You should invite friends over or go visit family and make sure you are happy like everyone else in Canada who cares about there home.

So invented something you can do every Canada day have fun, and post!:)

Be enviromentaly friendly!

Most people really do care about the environment and try there best to do whatever they can to help keep the earth a clean and healthy place to live, but then there are even more people who don't care about global warming and are home, Earth.

I think those people who are the ones who don't care should change there mind and think differently about what they do to the earth, like the people who litter should really try to use a garbage can because they are all around. (The people who do care out them there!)

I do hope that most people in my class and the rest of the school including the teachers are most of those people how care about the earth and how we should help, I know I am!

Summer!

Only one and a half months to go until school is finally done and it's summer time!

I like summer, not just because there is no more boring school but because i get to spend time with my friends all day and go on vacation to different places like my family and I do every year.

I think that most people in my class love the summer time...so I would really like it if you could please comment on this post and tell me want you like most about summer and what you don't like(there should not be any of those.)

Track and Field

Coming soon is a event almost every school participates in at the end of the school year..it's Track and Field!!! There is lots of different events you can practise on to make your self perfect!There is...Long jump, high jump, triple jump, 100 meter sprint, 200 meter, 800 meter and 1500 meter runs.
My favourite events in track and filed are long jump and the 100 meter run, what are your favourite events?Do like track and field or is it not one of the best thing in your opinion?

Friends

Everyone has to have a least one friend but most people have way more than that (if your a nice person...)

Everyone is different so that means all friends are different in some/or many ways.

Friendss can be nice, honest, helpful, trustworthy (and even non-trustwourthy and mean but then they would not be a very good friend to hang out with.) They can be thankful and lots of other characteristics.

Most friends people have have the same interests, like they both play soccer and both love pizza.

Your friend can even be someone related to you, like your sisters/brothers and cousins can be one of you friends, not you "best"friend but still hang out with them alot.

Do you have any sisters or brotheres as your friends? Do you have a best friend or you just can't choose?

Birthdays!

Today is April 16th which is also my Dad's birthday.

I dont think that he would be the only one whos birthday is today but I dont know anyone else with the same birthday. My cousin Clea, her birthday is on the 18th of April and thats the closest I know.

Do you know any one else whos birthday is on April 16th or just the 16th of any month, or just in April, i know lots of people in my grade 6 class has a birthday in April, are you one of them?

I know I am not, my Birthday is not untill September 10th.

Icecream

There is one cold refreshing treat everyone know, Icecream.

Icecream is practicly ice cold frozen flavoured cream i think i am not exctaly shure but it dosen't matter, it is still the best food (to me at least).

There are thousands...ok mabye not that many but there are still alot of flavours to pick from but of courseyoshoulknowthatunlessyou'renotfromearth.

Now you probaly know that I love icecream very much but i want to know if you like it at all.

If you dont like to me, you are insane, but i am one person in a million.

What type of icesream do you like? Is it chocolate, vanilla, strawberry or something weird and out of the ordaniry?

Mothers Day!

It is now April but that dosen't mean you don't have to think about Mothers Day. It is alwas nice to give your mum a card, flowers, presant or hug to show her that you love her. Mothers Day is importent beacause she cares for you everyday and this is a day to thank your mum and be proud to have a mother as nice and caring as her. If your mum wont be around you for mothers day, you can still thank a female relitive and let her know she is speacil to you.

Then there is Fathers Day but it is not untill June. You have to wait till Mothers Day to Worry about Fathers Day.Now i would like to know what you want to do for your mother or female relitive on Mothers Day and why?

April fools day!!!!

It was april fool day yeasterday (april 1st).

There was alot of people i know who played tricks on others, mostly my friends. Did you remember it was April fools?What jokes did you tell people?

Easter:)

Happy Easter to everyone out there and have a great spring to! Its getting warmer and warmer everyday so everyone SHOULD be out there playing sports or going for a bike ride or just relaxing with a book to read. Spring is my 2nd favorite season because Summer is my first. What is your favorite season and why? Do like Easter why or why not?if not what is your favorite holiday?

Go Green!

At Mt.pleasant school an Monday March 30th the kids are doing something called Green Day!
All you have to do is wear something Green and do something to help the earth, like turn off the lights, bring a recyclable lunch, and lots more! This also dose not just have to happen at our school but ask your parents and sisters & brothers to participate in Green Day to:)
